Manage the care of patients before, during, and after surgery as an operating room registered nurse (RN OR) in a travel nursing role. This includes preparing patients, handling instruments, monitoring patient status, and assisting with surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Manage the care of patients before, during, and after surgery
- Prepare the patient for surgery
- Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment
- Monitor patient status during surgery
- Assist surgeries as necessary
- Provide pre- and post-op education to patients and their families
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty (OR - Operating Room)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
