Care for women and newborns through all stages of childbirth, including coaching, monitoring vitals, administering medication, and managing complications. Provide essential education and guidance to new mothers.
Responsibilities
- Care for women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth
- Coach women throughout the birthing process
- Monitor the mother's and baby's vitals
- Administer medication and manage potential complications
- Assist in caesarian sections as needed
- Provide education and guidance to new mothers regarding recovery and infant care
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery
- Active RN license
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
