Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

About This Role

Cross Country Nurses is looking for a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures for a 13-week travel nursing job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. In this role, you will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, monitor patients, and administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties
• Prep patients for procedures and ensure informed consent
• Monitor vital signs and administer IVs
• Assist the physician during procedures and assess the patient
• Administer medications as needed during and after procedures
• Stay with patients until they are stabilized for transfer or discharge

Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
