Cross Country Nurses is looking for a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures for a 13-week travel nursing job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. In this role, you will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, monitor patients, and administer medications.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties
- Prep patients for procedures and ensure informed consent
- Monitor vital signs and administer IVs
- Assist the physician during procedures and assess the patient
- Administer medications as needed during and after procedures
- Stay with patients until they are stabilized for transfer or discharge
Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in specialty
