Serve as a travel medical-surgical/telemetry float Registered Nurse in St. Joseph, Missouri, providing hospital-based patient care to a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry population in a Rapid Observation Unit. This role involves floating between departments and utilizing Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Provide hospital-based patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
- Work in a Rapid Observation Unit setting
- Perform 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
- Care for patients in a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center environment
- Care for a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
- Float within Med/Surg Telemetry departments as needed
- Utilize Epic EMR for charting
- Complete mandatory orientation modules via MyPath
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting required
Nice to Have
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience
