Travel Emergency Department Holding RN

About This Role

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department Holding unit, caring for a diverse patient population with complex ED admission diagnoses. This role involves floating between various units and handling a wide range of diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ER Holding unit of a hospital setting
• Care for a diverse patient population with complex ED admission diagnoses
• Float between ER, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, and Intermediate Care units within specialty and scope
• Provide care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Handle a wide range of diagnoses in border roles across ED, MS/T, and IMC
• Wear royal blue scrubs during all shifts
• Cover holiday shifts as part of the regular rotation

Requirements

• Active RN license in MD or a Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER or related acute care experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CPI certification

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER or related acute care experience
