Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department Holding unit, caring for a diverse patient population with complex ED admission diagnoses. This role involves floating between various units and handling a wide range of diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ER Holding unit of a hospital setting
- Care for a diverse patient population with complex ED admission diagnoses
- Float between ER, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, and Intermediate Care units within specialty and scope
- Provide care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Handle a wide range of diagnoses in border roles across ED, MS/T, and IMC
- Wear royal blue scrubs during all shifts
- Cover holiday shifts as part of the regular rotation
Requirements
- Active RN license in MD or a Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER or related acute care experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- CPI certification
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER or related acute care experience
