Transportation Specialist

About This Role

Drive a company vehicle on a set route to deliver and pick up mail, supplies, and specimens for ProHealth Physicians, contributing to patient care and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up mail and supplies to offices
• Pick up specimens and store appropriately for transport
• Fill out route sheet completely and accurately
• Go to each stop on the route sheet and check every specimen box for specimens
• Use Logistics phone and ensure the phone number is on the sign-in sheet; answer or return phone calls in a timely manner
• Complete sign-in sheet accurately with return time and number of specimens
• Ensure specimen count matches what the processors count
• Adapt to changes in scheduling due to weather, holidays or traffic
• Operate a company-owned vehicle following all state laws
• Perform a safety check of the vehicle, ensuring all necessary items for proper storage are packed before departure
• Represent PHP Laboratory when dealing with Offices and Quest stations
• Maintain a clean vehicle inside and outside

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Access to reliable transportation
• Valid US driver's license
• Current Motor Vehicle Record in good standing
