Transportation Project Manager

About This Role

Manage transportation projects for HNTB, ensuring quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery while satisfying client needs. Lead project teams, develop scopes, and oversee technical aspects for highway and municipal transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation, assisting in technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project teams to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production.
• Implement the firm’s project delivery plan and lead the development and execution of the project management plan.
• Supervise and mentor teams to achieve overall project objectives.
• Coordinate with managers on project staffing, including recruitment, development, retention, and succession.
• Partner with Client Service Leaders for business development, client relationships, and pursuit efforts.
• Lead proposal development and interview presentations for strategic and mini-mega projects.

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience
• Experience with Oklahoma DOT, Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, and/or local municipal transportation design
• Knowledgeable in Bentley design software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 8 years of relevant experience, with 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience

Nice to Have

• 10 years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• Microstation experience (InRoads and OpenRoads)
• Bluebeam Revu experience
• Design and Project Delivery Experience for ODOT and/or OTA
• Active engagement in local professional and/or civic organizations
• 2+ years of management experience
