Transportation Planner

About This Role

This is an introductory Transportation Planner role focused on understanding the end-to-end transportation process and supporting Transportation Team Leaders by executing projects and assisting with planning to create best value for clients and customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 9 Step Problem solving
• Provide transportation planning for assigned facilities
• Back up other transportation planners, as required

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Relative experience required in lieu of degree
• 1-2 years customer service or basic transportation experience in an office setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications with emphasis on Outlook, Excel (intermediate), Word, PowerPoint, and Project

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service or basic transportation experience in an office setting, with relative experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Supply Chain or Transportation
• Transportation management systems experience, OTM preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
