About This Role

The Associate Scientist I, Immunology is responsible for conducting cell-based and ligand binding assays within the Immunology/Immunosafety group. This role supports the client's biologic therapeutics portfolio through assay development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cell-based assays, ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD, and Luminex assays), and other assigned laboratory works
  • Conduct cell-based and ligand binding assays
  • Develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot immunoassays and cell-based assays to support client’s biologic therapeutics portfolio
  • Order lab supplies and experimental materials; maintain lab instruments
  • Help other lab scientists

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, cell biology, or related areas
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in cell culture
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in flow cytometry assays
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex)
  • Experience with human primary cell isolation (PBMC)
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences (e.g., Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field)
  • Preferably one year of relevant industry experience. Academic lab experience will be considered.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of relevant global health authority guidelines and industry practices
