This Physician-Scientist role involves developing an academic, laboratory translational research program within the Division of Transplant/Cell Therapy, focusing on novel cell-based and immune therapies. The position includes a primary research laboratory assignment with dedicated space and resources, alongside responsibilities in teaching and clinical application of laboratory research.
Responsibilities
- Develop an academic, laboratory translational research program
- Conduct and participate in translating laboratory research into clinical applications
- Collaborate on research in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy
- Oversight of graduate students, research and clinical fellows, residents, and mid-level providers during laboratory, ambulatory, and inpatient activities
Requirements
- MD (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of fellowships in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology
- Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Medical Oncology board eligible or certified OR Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, or Immunology board eligible or certified
Qualifications
- MD (or foreign equivalent) and completion of fellowships in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology
Nice to Have
- TCT fellowship (or equivalent experience)
