About This Role

This Physician-Scientist role involves developing an academic, laboratory translational research program within the Division of Transplant/Cell Therapy, focusing on novel cell-based and immune therapies. The position includes a primary research laboratory assignment with dedicated space and resources, alongside responsibilities in teaching and clinical application of laboratory research.

Responsibilities

• Develop an academic, laboratory translational research program
• Conduct and participate in translating laboratory research into clinical applications
• Collaborate on research in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy
• Oversight of graduate students, research and clinical fellows, residents, and mid-level providers during laboratory, ambulatory, and inpatient activities

Requirements

• MD (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of fellowships in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology
• Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Medical Oncology board eligible or certified OR Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, or Immunology board eligible or certified

Qualifications

• MD (or foreign equivalent) and completion of fellowships in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, or Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology

Nice to Have

• TCT fellowship (or equivalent experience)
