Join Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group as a Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician, providing outstanding rehabilitation services for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21 years of age. This role involves both inpatient acute rehab and outpatient practice, with opportunities for teaching and research within the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient acute rehabilitation for ages 0 to 21, including infants with feeding difficulty, delayed milestones, and anxiety with handling through the new Totally Infants’ Program
- Conduct outpatient practice focused on CP and spasticity management (ITB and Botulinum)
- Potentially get involved in multidisciplinary clinics such as Home Ventilator, Hypertonicity/SDR, Spina Bifida, high-risk infant, and Muscular Dystrophy clinics
- Participate in teaching opportunities within the PMR residency program
- Engage in research supported by the Department of PMR, especially within the new Totally Infants’ Program
- Likely participate in the on-call pool for Adult Inpatient Rehab units/teams, dependent on availability and necessity
Requirements
