Medical Education Fellowship - Emergency Medicine

About This Role

This fellowship in Emergency Medicine Medical Education offers a flexible 1 or 2-year program to develop essential knowledge in learning theory, teaching techniques, and study design. Fellows can sub-specialize in various areas of education and will be mentored by faculty while working with medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete foundational curriculum in learning theory, lecture/bedside teaching techniques, and study design
• Sub-specialize in undergraduate, graduate, simulation, or international medical education, or create an individual curriculum
• Work closely with medical students and residents during clinical shifts in a busy emergency department
• Be mentored by education faculty

Requirements

• California residency upon start date

• Option to complete a Masters of Health Professional Education
