About This Role

Join a vibrant and growing liver transplant program as a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hepatologist. Provide comprehensive transplant services to patients with end-stage liver disease, including pre-transplant evaluation, post-transplantation care, and immunosuppression management.

Responsibilities

• Provide transplant services to patients with end-stage liver disease
• Focus on potential liver transplant recipients
• Perform pre-transplant workup and evaluation
• Provide post-transplantation care
• Manage immunosuppression
• Participate in patient selection conferences
• Participate in liver transplant clinic
• Participate in house staff teaching
• Actively participate and be productive in research

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Hepatologist with transplant expertise
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Board certified in Gastroenterology
• Completed a certified Hepatology Transplant Fellowship OR experience necessary to qualify under OPTN clinical experience pathway
