Trainer

About This Role

This role primarily supports Operations by providing on-the-job training for department teammates. The trainer will also review and analyze work instructions and training materials, recommending changes when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing teammates
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple processes and provide training accordingly
• Identify learning challenges and adapt training methods to support employee understanding
• Perform work safely and in compliance with company and customer standards and safety regulations
• Report unsafe conditions or accidents to the appropriate personnel
• Develop and maintain the training program
• Serve as a backup to the Safety Coordinator
• Support operations when not actively performing training duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) or ability to learn
• Prior experience in department-specific processes
• Excellent organizational skills
• Safety conscious
• Customer service driven
• Strong team player
