Therapist Inpatient

About This Role

Conduct therapy sessions for inpatients, including individual, group, and family counseling, to help them achieve defined treatment goals. Collaborate with the care team and other agencies to meet patient needs and provide crisis intervention when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions with patient by doing individual, group and family and/or significant other counseling and education to assist these individuals in achieving defined treatment goals
• Refer and collaborate with care team, other agencies, and significant others having a joint interest in meeting the needs of the patient
• Respond to crisis situations and provide crisis intervention to patients in assigned program

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work
• Active license in state of practice (PLMHP, LMHP, LIMHP, PCMSW, CMSW, or CSW)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
