About This Role

As a Medical Surgical Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and educating patients on post-hospital care. This role is crucial for ensuring timely intervention and comprehensive patient and family education in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Track routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse ox levels
• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
• Quickly report and address any changes in condition
• Patiently and thoroughly explain tests results and procedures to patients and family members
• Educate patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, care maintenance, and prevention

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma
• One (1) or more years of nursing experience
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
• BLS (AHA)

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma
• One (1) or more years of nursing experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• One (1) or more years of experience in an Acute Care setting
