This role coordinates and manages therapeutic dockets within the Norfolk Circuit Court Judge's Office, ensuring effective program delivery and compliance with grant requirements. The coordinator acts as a primary liaison between the court, treatment providers, and other stakeholders, promoting positive participant outcomes in programs like Recovery Court, Mental Health Docket, and Veterans Docket.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned therapeutic dockets
- Serve as the primary liaison between the court, treatment providers, probation, and other stakeholders
- Facilitate staffing meetings and court sessions, including preparation of agendas, case summaries, and participant progress updates
- Monitor participant compliance with program requirements, court orders, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential participant records, files, and databases
- Collect, track, and report program data in accordance with grant, state, and local requirements
- Prepare, submit, and manage the annual grant application(s) supporting therapeutic dockets
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all grant terms and conditions, including fiscal requirements, performance measures, reporting deadlines, and audit readiness
- Serve as the primary point of contact for grant administrators and funding agencies
- Assist with grant compliance, including documentation, reporting deadlines, and audits
- Develop and update program policies, procedures, and participant handbooks as needed
- Coordinate referrals, screenings, and admissions into therapeutic dockets
- Schedule court hearings, staffing meetings, and treatment-related appointments
- Communicate regularly with participants regarding expectations, court dates, and program requirements
- Assist with training for stakeholders, staff, and community partners
- Identify opportunities for program improvement and make recommendations to leadership
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to problem-solving courts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social work, public administration, psychology, or a related field
- 5 years' experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social work, public administration, psychology, or a related field
- 5 years' experience required with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a court setting, treatment program, probation, or related human services field
Nice to Have
