Teach Sport Management courses within the Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology at Georgia Southern University, engaging with students across multiple modalities and contributing to a positive academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Sport Management courses
• Teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online)
• Engage with institutional student success initiatives
• Engage with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development
• Integrate technology into teaching
• Contribute to a positive work environment in the Department, College, and University

Requirements

• Earned master's degree in sport management, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in sport management, by August 1, 2025
• Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
• Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development
• Ability and/or willingness to learn to teach in an online environment
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment in the Department, College, and University
• Technological literacy and a commitment to integrate technology into teaching

Qualifications

• Earned master's degree in sport management, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in sport management

Nice to Have

• Minimum of one year of full-time college/university teaching in sport management or closely related field
