Provide essential support to skilled tradespersons by performing a variety of basic maintenance tasks for buildings, forklifts, plant equipment, and grounds. This role involves basic repairs, cleaning, painting, and preventative maintenance, often serving as an entry point into a maintenance career.
Responsibilities
- Maintain maintenance work order program FIIX
- Assist purchasing in stocking and entering new parts in the FIIX program
- Assist in inventory control
- Work overtime as required with production machines
- Assist maintenance technicians on breakdowns, repairs, and installations
- Assist and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using voltmeters and other testing devices
- Monitor recorded repairs and maintenance performed
- Record parts and materials used, assist with ordering new parts and materials
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience
- Exceptional attendance and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations)
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making
- Able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options
- Some troubleshooting skills
Qualifications

- Minimum 1-2 years related experience
