Extruder Machine Operator

About This Role

Operate an extruder machine to produce quality film products, performing light maintenance and ensuring compliance with production, scrap, and quality standards. This role is an integral part of a fast-paced, safety-oriented manufacturing environment in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Operate an extruder machine safely to create film
• Perform light maintenance on assigned machine and communicate major issues to supervision
• Read, understand, and follow all work instructions to meet production, scrap, and quality standards
• Ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards
• Maintain quality of products being produced at or above required specifications

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Ability to work a 12-hour schedule
• Ability to work overtime

Qualifications

• High School or better
• Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience is highly preferred
