Lead technical project management for a AAA Video Game Studio's authenticated user web experience, managing the signed-in experience for user settings, account features, and content. Drive alignment across engineering, design, marketing, and user research teams, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead recurring syncs, stand-ups, bug triage, timeline check-ins, and design reviews with Engineering
- Create clarity through discussions across developers, designers, and partners
- Set tone, ensure clarity, and drive alignment across disciplines
- Act as connective tissue, translating business goals to technical requirements and team execution
- Execute and follow up on actions from meetings, discussing and mitigating decisions and blockers
- Spot risks early, unblock team members, and keep energy focused on forward progress
- Guide conversations with sharp facilitation, asking the right questions and driving decisions
- Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery
- Drive program/project schedules and status reports
- Create and/or review multiple functional specifications
- Provide Product Managers and Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information
- Organize cross-functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Producer or related experience
- 7+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, SCRUM, or other agile methodologies)
- 5+ years experience with Web, Game or other accessible digital platform, compliance, privacy, and player safety standards
- Hands-on familiarity with React, single page applications (SPAs), and modern web development workflows
- Comfortable facilitating conversations that clarify requirements, scope, and success criteria
- Understanding of web platform enhancements, content systems, and services powering large-scale websites such as Minecraft.net
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Producer or related experience. 7+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies. 5+ years experience with Web, Game or other accessible digital platform, compliance, privacy, and player-safety standards.
