Technical Project Lead

About This Role

This role involves coordinating and overseeing project activities, managing systems, and consulting with various stakeholders to ensure operational integrity and meet computing needs for an AI research lab.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans to coordinate and oversee project activities
• Manage backup, security, and user help systems to ensure operational integrity
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
• Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, and vendors to solicit cooperation and resolve issues
• Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements
• Develop computer information resources, ensuring data security, strategic computing, and disaster recovery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Expert knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software
• Expert knowledge of Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Leadership and mentoring skills for providing support and constructive feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have

• MBA or other related advanced degree
• PMI or PMP certification
