Frontend Engineer

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. This role focuses on developing high-quality frontend web applications, games, tools, and simulations to train AI models in client-side web development skills.

Responsibilities

• Write realistic, self-contained prompts for client-side web apps, games, tools, and simulations
• Create precise, binary rubrics tagged by verification type
• Ensure all rubric items are pass/fail and verifiable from screenshot and code inspection
• Develop high-quality vibe coding data to train models on client-side web development skills, including state management, interactivity, UI correctness, and robustness
• Collaborate with AI labs to improve AI model performance on real-world client-side web development tasks
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in frontend/full-stack development or technical content creation
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or vanilla JS
• Comfortable writing precise technical specifications and evaluation criteria
