Team Manager

About This Role

As a Team Manager, you will be part of the bakery-cafe's leadership team, running shifts, developing the team, and ensuring high standards for guest experience. You will lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve goals in food quality, service speed, and order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and staff
• Build engaging relationships to foster long-term guest loyalty
• Lead, manage, and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience goals
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process for team members
• Train the team in and enforce food safety standards
• Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Proven ability to lead great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 25 pounds
• Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
• Ability to clearly communicate and quickly understand guests and associates’ directions in a loud environment

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
