Teaching Faculty I in Psychological and Counseling Services (Clinic Director)

About This Role

This role involves directing the Assessment, Learning Evaluation, & Counseling (ALEC) Center, focusing on training and supervising graduate students in psychological evaluations and counseling. The director will also serve as Teaching Faculty I for an APA-accredited PhD program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and supervision of graduate students conducting psychological evaluations, counseling, and coaching
• Facilitate clinic workflow, including client intakes for assessments and case assignment
• Support the Executive Director on budget planning, scheduling, marketing, supply management, technology management, and compliance for the clinic
• Attend program faculty meetings
• Serve on program and departmental committees (e.g., program admission and preliminary exam committees)
• Support research and training projects in conjunction with program faculty
• Perform direct clinical services as needed for training purposes (e.g., intakes, test administration, conducting testing feedback, coaching, consultation, and counseling with clients)

Requirements

• Strong skills and background in psychological assessment
• Strong skills and background in psychoeducational services
• Knowledge of ADA and accessibility services
• Passion for professional mentorship and teaching
• Interest in working with a student body from all backgrounds
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and professionals in the field

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in counseling, school, or clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program
