Teacher Assistant-Math Tutor

About This Role

This role will assist a teacher with class conduct, including preparing materials and correcting assignments, primarily focusing on math tutoring for small groups of K-5 students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with the conduct of a class
• Prepare class materials
• Correct and record assignments
• Provide math tutoring for small groups of K-5 students

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience
• The equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education OR an associate's degree OR the ability to pass a Utah State Office of Education approved Para-Professional Test
• Interpersonal and communication skills
