Teacher Assistant

About This Role

Assist a teacher with the conduct of a class by preparing materials, correcting assignments, and providing various services to children aged 3-5.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with the conduct of a class
• Prepare class materials
• Correct and record assignments
• Assist with activities
• Work with children aged 3-5

Requirements

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience
• Two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education, OR an associate's degree, OR a CDA (Child Dev. Associate Credential), or currently working on a CDA
• Interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience, plus the equivalent of two years (48 semester hours) full-time education at an institution of higher education, an associate's degree, or a CDA (Child Dev. Associate Credential), or working on a CDA.

Nice to Have

• Secretarial/clerical skills, including ability to operate a computer
