Provide administrative support to a tax office in Asheville, NC. This contract role primarily focuses on document management, data entry, and general clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate scanning equipment to digitize paper documents
- Ensure all documents are scanned accurately and legibly
- Index and categorize scanned documents for easy retrieval
- Verify the quality of scanned documents and rescan as necessary
- Enter and update information in the firm's document management system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic filing systems
- Assist in managing the flow of documents within the office, ensuring they are properly tracked and stored
- Provide general clerical support to the administrative and accounting teams
- Assist with filing, photocopying, and other administrative tasks as required
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
