Tax Manager

About This Role

Lead and review complex tax returns for trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals, contributing to clients' financial well-being. Provide strategic tax planning and foster the growth of junior tax staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review complex tax returns for trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations
• Guarantee the timely and accurate filing of all tax returns related to trusts and estates, as well as individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Provide innovative tax planning and consulting services to minimize tax liabilities
• Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the go-to expert for tax matters
• Inspire, train, and mentor junior tax staff, fostering a collaborative work environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or EA
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive tax experience, including supervisory roles
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer software applications
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
• Strong command of the English language and grammar

Qualifications
