Surgical Technologist / L&D CST

Join a people-first team as a day shift, PRN Labor and Delivery Certified Surgical Tech (CST) at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. This role combines knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and technology to support physicians and enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Combine knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and the use of tools and technology to support the physician or CNM during labor and delivery.
• Set up surgical instruments and equipment and maintain sterility.
• Assist with preparing patients for the operating room or delivery.
• Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and assist with holding retractors and other instruments.
• Maintain inventory in all delivery and operating rooms.
• Perform key clerical duties, including accurately entering patient orders, maintaining up-to-date delivery logs, and conducting daily patient census checks.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Surgical Technology program
• Certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist
