About This Role

This role is responsible for stocking and maintaining hospital supplies across various departments. It involves using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations under the guidance of a department Director or Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory and adjust records as needed
  • Stock units with office and medical supplies and prepare requisitions to maintain par levels
  • Receive shipments, log receipts, enter data into the inventory system, and deliver items to departments or other facilities
  • Report and document errors or damages to management
  • Answer the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally, routing calls and messages appropriately
  • Complete clerical and computer tasks that support patient care delivery
  • Process outgoing mail

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems
  • Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand)
  • Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire

Qualifications
