Supply Chain Manager

About This Role

This Supply Chain Manager role oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring material availability, cost control, and on-time delivery for aerial equipment production. The role focuses on managing global suppliers, optimizing inventory, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, material planning, inventory control, and logistics for aerial equipment production
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships for hydraulics, electronics, and components
• Lead demand planning and forecasting aligned with sales, production, and service requirements
• Monitor inventory levels to balance production continuity and working capital efficiency
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies (dual sourcing, safety stock, localization)
• Coordinate inbound logistics, customs, and freight for international suppliers
• Partner with Manufacturing, Distributing and Product teams on supplier qualification and change management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost, lead time, and supplier performance
• Oversee shop operations and reporting for all shop activities such as PDI, Part Sales

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in heavy equipment, machinery, or similar industry
• Strong understanding of BOMs
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems
• Strong understanding of production planning
• Experience sourcing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
• Knowledge of global supply chains, import/export, and logistics
• Strong analytical skills
• Negotiation skills
• Cross-functional collaboration skills

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in heavy equipment, machinery, or similar industry

Nice to Have

• Experience in OEM manufacturing environment (aerial equipment, construction equipment, or industrial machinery)
• Experience working with Asian and North American suppliers
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
