Manage and lead the Integrated Business Planning team within the Supply Chain function, focusing on aligning internal objectives with external realities to maximize efficiencies and meet overall business needs.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for aligning internal objectives with external realities to maximize efficiencies of technologies, processes and solutions, ensuring that performance meets the overall business needs
- Manage a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and lower-level people managers with strategic implications across organizations and/or functions
- Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and processes
- Ensure the delivery of products and services that meet the performance metrics defined by senior management; supports the design of performance measurement processes
- Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope
- Create new operational efficiencies and cost savings within the supply chain on a broad scale, using horizontal strategies and initiatives and influencing internal and external partners
- Plan, direct and monitor activities of Staff from a strategic level, ensuring that operations achieve key business metrics
- Oversee the development and delivery of complex initiatives that can impact the supply chain globally, typically requiring the leadership of cross-functional and cross-regional teams
- Prepare reporting and critical analysis for business planning and management reviews to provide meaningful and actionable information for effective decision making
- Facilitate cross-functional Integrated Business Planning Reviews with leadership that accurately communicates key sales and operations data such as supply/demand balance, lead times, inventory, delivery performance, forecast accuracy and operational alignment to both short and long term goals
- Perform gap analysis to metrics and KPIs, identifying risks, opportunities and driving closure
- Partner with HPE’s account team, represent operations to key customers leading collaborative demand planning and forecasting processes
- Manage the intake, assessment and program management of delivering scalable supply chain solutions and process to drive sustained improvement
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function (or related fields)
- 2-4 years of people management experience
- Advanced knowledge of procurement and supply chain business requirements and strategies
- Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills
- Thorough knowledge of marketplace and industry standards and compliance
- Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytics and data modelling skills
- Advanced project management and project sponsorship skills
- Advanced people management skills, including managing teams across geographies
- Advanced influencing, consulting and negotiation skills
- Advanced business acumen and understanding of risk mitigation approaches and contract language usage
- Strong understanding of the company's policies and processes
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Qualifications
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function (or related fields) and 2-4 years of people management experience.
