Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground

About This Role

As a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground at VCI Construction, you will oversee and manage large crews in underground construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring project completion, approving production, managing equipment, and maintaining strong relationships with staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Walkout projects and submit SOW totals
• Review and approve all production
• Keep complete and submit job closeout packages
• Be aware of all vehicle and equipment needs and condition, as well as employee performance and needs
• Effectively write reports, internal site audits, and manage employee time sheets
• Review and interpret drawings and specifications

Requirements

• 8 years of construction supervisory experience in underground construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in Aerial & Underground utility construction
• Ability to manage and supervise large crews
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements
• OSHA 30 certification
• Excellent leadership skills
• Proficiency with Word/Google & Excel programs
• Valid C Driver's License
• Knowledgeable in Underground Utilities Construction
• Able to read prints and line out crews

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of construction supervisory experience in similar underground construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures required. Also, 3-5 years supervisory experience in Aerial & Underground utility construction.
