Superintendent

About This Role

Lead high-profile construction projects for a commercial contractor, managing subcontractor crews and ensuring safety and quality standards on job sites across the local market.

Responsibilities

• Direct all daily activities on the job site and manage subcontractor crews
• Develop and maintain short-term "look-ahead" schedules to keep the project on track
• Ensure every worker follows safety rules and that the work meets high-quality standards
• Manage deliveries, site logistics, and inspections to avoid delays
• Solve field issues quickly to keep production moving
• Keep daily logs, track man-hours, and report progress to the office

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Lead or Assistant Superintendent on commercial job sites
• Strong understanding of site work, structural systems, and interior finishes
• Ability to manage subcontractors firmly but fairly and keep a team motivated
• Comfortable using a tablet/computer for daily reports and communicating clearly with the project team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Lead or Assistant Superintendent on commercial job sites

Nice to Have

• OSHA 30-hour certification
