Lead high-profile construction projects for a commercial contractor, managing subcontractor crews and ensuring safety and quality standards on job sites across the local market.
Responsibilities
- Direct all daily activities on the job site and manage subcontractor crews
- Develop and maintain short-term "look-ahead" schedules to keep the project on track
- Ensure every worker follows safety rules and that the work meets high-quality standards
- Manage deliveries, site logistics, and inspections to avoid delays
- Solve field issues quickly to keep production moving
- Keep daily logs, track man-hours, and report progress to the office
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Lead or Assistant Superintendent on commercial job sites
- Strong understanding of site work, structural systems, and interior finishes
- Ability to manage subcontractors firmly but fairly and keep a team motivated
- Comfortable using a tablet/computer for daily reports and communicating clearly with the project team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Lead or Assistant Superintendent on commercial job sites
Nice to Have
- OSHA 30-hour certification
