About This Role

Coordinate all site construction activities, supervise field staff, and manage project tasks for a commercial general contractor. This role focuses on maintaining quality, safety practices, and effective communication to meet project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all site construction activities
• Supervise all field staff including Foreman, Sub-Foreman, and subcontractors
• Effectively coordinate with trade partners and various field personnel
• Manage project tasks to meet schedule and budget
• Administer good construction safety practices with all on-site activities
• Lead, direct and oversee the safe and effective daily operation of a project
• Provide technical and informational support to the project team
• Establish project objectives and policies, maintain liaison with prime clients
• Monitor construction and financial activities
• Manage contract requirements and scopes of work
• Document field activities including punchlist and closeout
• Plan and communicate project needs (labor, equipment, materials)
• Promote and support good internal and external relationships

Requirements

• 3 years minimum experience in the construction industry
• High level of emotional intelligence
• High level of integrity
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications

• Construction Management or Construction Technology preferred, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience
• 3 years minimum experience in the construction industry
