About This Role

Lead and supervise historic restoration construction projects, ensuring adherence to the Secretary of the Interior's standards while managing timelines, budgets, and coordinating trades. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and uphold safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• Collaborate with architects, historical restoration contractors, and historical society directors to ensure project goals are met
• Oversee all trades involved in the restoration process, leveraging extensive knowledge of historic building practices
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain a drug-free workplace environment
• Document progress and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years in superintendent or project manager role with historic restoration/preservation experience
• Knowledge of historic building practices and all trades associated with historic structures
• Knowledge of the Secretary of Interior standards for historic preservation
• OSHA certification

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a superintendent or project manager role, with a minimum of 3 projects focusing on historic restoration/historic preservation. At least 10 years of trade-related experience.
