About This Role

Assist and support supervising district professional employees or teachers in providing non-instructional support within a school environment, ensuring smooth operation and student well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising district professional employees and teachers in non-instructional support tasks
• Perform routine activities such as making copies, taking attendance, and filing
• Monitor hallways or recess yards under supervision
• Arrange the learning environment and distribute/collect materials
• Complete various clerical duties
• Assist with classroom snack materials, preparation, and clean-up
• Allow students to visit the nurse or use the restroom upon request
• Adhere to Kelly Education Standards of Professional Conduct

Requirements

• Ability to lift materials and supplies up to 25 pounds
• Ability to assist in implementing an instructional support program
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently and effectively in English
• Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with School District staff and students
• Ability to maintain student and school personnel confidentiality
• Understanding and respect for diverse cultures
