Sub Food Service Worker

About This Role

Provide food service assistance and direct services to students in the absence of the full-time Food Service Worker. Ensure all food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Follow sign in/sign out procedures as prescribed by School District personnel
• Assist in providing food service preparation and services to students and other related kitchen duties
• Dress in a safe and appropriate manner as described in KES Standards of Professional Conduct
• Follow all food safety and storage rules
• Follow all established sanitation procedures
• Operate all mechanical kitchen equipment correctly and safely
• Assist in money and meal accountability

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with School District staff and students
