Stormwater Project Manager

About This Role

This role involves leading stormwater and grading design for civil engineering projects, including producing high-quality plans and construction documents. The manager will support permitting, coordinate with local agencies, and collaborate with internal design teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering plan production for site development projects
• Lead stormwater and grading design, including detention, conveyance, and drainage systems
• Prepare construction documents, calculations, and supporting technical exhibits
• Support permitting and coordination with local reviewing agencies
• Collaborate closely with internal design teams in a full-time, in-office environment
• Provide technical input and mentoring where appropriate
• Contribute to project delivery with a “doer” mindset, focused on execution and quality

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 4-10+ years of civil engineering experience
• Strong background in stormwater and grading design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD-based civil design workflows

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years of civil engineering experience

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with a civil engineering design firm
