Manage facility engineering projects within food manufacturing or processing environments, leading multidisciplinary teams from concept through execution. You will coordinate technical reviews, maintain schedules and budgets, and serve as a key link between clients, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage facility engineering projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget targets are met
- Review engineering designs and technical documentation for quality and constructability
- Coordinate project planning, execution, and day-to-day engineering activities
- Interface with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and project issues
- Conduct site visits and field evaluations as required
- Promote continuous improvement through collaboration and feedback
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in facility engineering or engineering project management
- Proven experience managing projects within engineering, construction, or fabrication environments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in facility engineering or engineering project management
Nice to Have
- PE certification
- PMP certification
