Senior Traffic Engineer

About This Role

Lead and design traffic signal and electrical projects using advanced analysis tools. Collaborate with state and municipal clients to develop strategic traffic control plans and contribute to business development by assisting with proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of traffic signal and electrical designs to enhance road safety and efficiency.
• Conduct intersection and roadway capacity analyses using HCS, Synchro, and SimTraffic software.
• Perform crash and Highway Safety Manual analyses to promote safer travel.
• Develop conceptual construction staging alternatives and traffic control plans.
• Provide staffing augmentation services and support to State and Municipal clients.
• Assist in writing proposals and contribute to business development.
• Produce professional deliverables adhering to client standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• PE license
• 6+ years of experience in traffic engineering
• Strong background in Signal Design
• Proficiency in traffic analysis and producing professional deliverables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• 6 to 20+ years of experience in traffic engineering, with a strong background in Signal Design.
