About This Role

This Store Associate role involves greeting customers, operating the register, and maintaining store displays to help customers find shoes and accessories at Shoe Carnival. The position requires strong customer service skills and basic math ability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer help finding shoes and accessories
• Operate the register: handle cash, give change, and process returns
• Use basic math and counting skills for transactions
• Share promotions and Shoe Perks program with customers
• Keep displays neat, organized, and well-stocked
• Support loss prevention and store cleanliness

Requirements

• Great communication and listening skills
• Strong customer service mindset
• Ability to count cash and perform basic math accurately
• Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• At least 16 years old
