Stone Lab Student Assistant

About This Role

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Stone Lab program, supporting outreach, dining, residence, and general maintenance tasks. This temporary position aligns with the student's courses at Stone Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tours of the South Bass Island Lighthouse as part of the Stone Lab outreach program
• Assist dining and residence staff with meal prep and service, housekeeping, and dorm duties
• Assist operations staff with general maintenance of buildings
• Assist with upkeep of the program’s vehicles and vessels
• Assist with basic landscaping and grounds tasks

Requirements

• Must be taking a Stone Lab course concurrently with employment
• Ability to work with a diverse population and as a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of a background check
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays

Nice to Have

• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
