About This Role

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the kitchen and related areas, ensuring proper equipment function and safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials and equipment to maintain cleanliness/sanitation of workstation
• Communicate problems/concerns to supervisor or kitchen management
• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function
• Ensure the cleanliness of all floors, walls, dishes, pots, etc.
• Ensure "Wet Floor" signs and other markers are used
• Make sure kitchen workers have and use the proper equipment necessary for the job (gloves, goggles, chemicals, etc.)
• Ensure that all equipment functions properly
• Maintain the levels and standards of cleanliness and safety set by Cactus Petes Casino and the Health Department

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions for safe application

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
