About This Role

This role involves configuring, administering, and scripting on the ServiceNow platform, working with ITS Leadership to develop technical solutions that meet business needs. The developer will focus on Field Service Management (FSM) or Nuvolo, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modules.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows
  • Build service requests using workflows to manage data flows from customers to support teams
  • Automate tasks within ServiceNow using scripting tools and functionality
  • Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration
  • Gather specifications from the IT department and deliver products/releases that meet needs
  • Create requirements definitions and technical specifications documentation
  • Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
  • Generate views and reports as needed for IT managers
  • Analyze user requirements and current procedures to improve capabilities and automate workflows
  • Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the application

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with ServiceNow platform as a developer
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including Field Service Management (FSM) or Nuvolo (Facilities Management)
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform as a developer

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
  • Knowledge of disciplined software release build/deploy processes
  • Knowledge of integrating with internal and external applications and systems
  • Knowledge of cross-browser and platform compatibility requirements
  • Knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS and good web design practices
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
  • Ability to interface and develop with Java/J2EE backend technologies
