Senior ServiceNow Developer

About This Role

This Senior ServiceNow Developer will support the ongoing development and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform, primarily focusing on ITSM. The role involves delivering high-quality configurations, customizations, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow configurations and custom applications
• Support ongoing improvements and optimization of ServiceNow ITSM modules
• Collaborate with the ServiceNow Architect and business analysts to clarify requirements and deliver solutions aligned with client needs
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to best practice documentation
• Maintain and refine update sets, release processes, and technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and platform stability

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret clearance
• 5-7 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• At least one ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification (ITSM preferred)
• Expert-level proficiency in ServiceNow scripting including Server-side and client-side JavaScript, Glide API / Glide scripting
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, including Application scoping, Data segregation, Performance optimization
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in federal or defense contracting environments
• Familiarity with release coordination, version control, and agile delivery methods
