Lead the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in shaping how BECU delivers strategic projects and products, managing a team of project managers and refining enterprise project management methodologies to ensure consistent, clear, and successful initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the EPMO’s enterprise-wide methodology, governance, and metrics
- Drive awareness, education, and adoption of project management methodologies across BECU
- Advance Agile frameworks in partnership with the Enterprise Agility team
- Lead organizational change initiatives and coach others through transitions
- Manage a team of project managers, including hiring, onboarding, assigning projects, and fostering professional growth
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals
- Monitor and guide progress, tracking milestones, risks, and metrics
- Uphold compliance with audit standards and manage program risks
- Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders through portfolio reviews and reporting
- Act as a point of escalation to help remove organizational roadblocks and keep teams focused
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related functional/project management experience delivering complex projects and managing project lifecycles
- 3+ years of experience leading people
- Understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Experience leading organizational change and improving project delivery organizations
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field — or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of related functional/project management experience delivering complex projects and managing project lifecycles, plus 3 years of experience leading people
