About This Role

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Project Management will lead a team of project managers and refine BECU's enterprise project management methodologies to shape the delivery of strategic projects and products. This role focuses on guiding daily delivery, ensuring consistency, and driving success across all initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the EPMO's enterprise-wide methodology, governance, and metrics.
  • Drive awareness, education, and adoption of project management methodologies across BECU.
  • Advance Agile frameworks in partnership with the Enterprise Agility team.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and coach others through transitions.
  • Manage a team of project managers, including hiring, onboarding, project assignment, and fostering professional growth.
  • Ensure projects within the portfolio are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Track key milestones, risks, and metrics, providing strategic guidance and escalation support.
  • Uphold compliance with audit standards and manage program risks.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to stakeholders through portfolio reviews and reporting.
  • Act as a point of escalation to remove organizational roadblocks and empower teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of functional/project management experience delivering complex projects and managing project lifecycles
  • 3+ years of experience leading people
  • Understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience leading organizational change and improving project delivery organizations
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field — or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related functional/project management experience delivering complex projects and managing project lifecycles, plus 3 years of experience leading people, and understanding of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies. Experience leading organizational change and improving project delivery organizations. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
