As an Enterprise Program Manager at BECU, you will deliver strategic outcomes by guiding complex, multi-stream initiatives across the Credit Union. You will collaborate with Technology and Business teams to execute programs with clarity, agility, and purpose. Your leadership will ensure measurable impact for BECU's members and influence operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Guide strategic programs from start to finish, aligning with business goals and technical priorities
- Champion Agile, collaborative planning for requirements gathering and refinement
- Partner with Tech Product Owners and Leadership to shape and evolve governance structures
- Define success metrics, ensure measurable business outcomes, and communicate results
- Oversee program financials, including budgets, resource plans, schedules, risks, and dependencies
- Navigate and solve challenges across teams while maintaining focus on outcomes, quality, and timelines
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and identify efficiency-improving tech practices
- Coach and mentor newer project managers and team members with guidance and hands-on leadership
- Collaborate across the enterprise to ensure cross-department alignment and communication
- Manage external partners by reviewing SOWs/contracts and overseeing third-party resources
- Lead release and go-live strategies, coordinating successful program launches and supporting post-implementation success
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing programs or large-scale projects
- 2 years improving enterprise or interdepartmental processes
- 1 year of mentoring and influencing others on project approaches
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience managing delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing programs or large-scale projects, 2 years improving enterprise or interdepartmental processes, plus 1 year of mentoring and influencing others on project approaches
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in a related field
- Project Management and Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP)
- Experience managing enterprise-level technology programs
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Involvement in professional organizations related to tech, change management, or community impact
